Our venue is located in Romiley, Stockport, about 10 miles southeast of Manchester. Below are recommended international travel routes from Manchester Airport, and domestic travel by car or train.

International travellers, from Manchester Airport (MAN)

By Car / Taxi (~25 min / ~10 miles):

1. Head out of the Manchester Airport Terminal onto the A538 road.
2. Take the M56: Continue straight on the A538 and take the M56 heading east (towards M60).
3. Join the M60 Ring Road: Follow signs to M60 South (clockwise), heading towards Stockport.
4. Exit at Junction 3 for Romiley: Exit the M60 at Junction 3 for Romiley and follow signs for A560.
5. Continue to Romiley town centre: Follow A560 into Romiley village.
6. Turn onto Hyde Bank Lane: As you enter Romiley, turn onto Hyde Bank Lane and continue down the narrow lane to reach Hyde Bank Farm.
7. A direct taxi from Manchester Airport to Hyde Bank Farm typically takes 25-30 min and costs in the range of £25-40.
8. If possible, we suggest that you pre-book your taxi in advance!

By Public Transport (~35-45 min):

1. Take the train from Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly Station.
2. From Manchester Piccadilly, take a train to Romiley Station on the Marple Line.
3. Hyde Bank Farm is about a 20-minute walk from Romiley Station, or you can take a local taxi.

Domestic travellers

By Public Transport:

1. Manchester Piccadilly Train Station is well-served from across the UK; e.g. direct trains from London or Cambridge to Manchester Piccadilly take about 2-3 hours.
2. From Manchester Piccadilly, take the Marple Line to Romiley Station (around 20–25 minutes).
3. Hyde Bank Farm is about a 20-minute walk from the station, or you can take a local taxi.

By Car:

1. Romiley is easily accessible by car, located near the M60 ring road around Manchester.
2. Enter Romiley from the M60 (Manchester's Ring Road): If you're coming from Manchester City Centre, take the M60 Ring Road south, exit at Junction 3 for Romiley; if you're coming from Liverpool, Chester, or the west, take the M62 towards Manchester, and then continue on the M60.
3. Once you’re in Romiley, follow the signs towards Hyde Bank Lane

When do I need to RSVP by? 30th April 2026

Are children welcome? Of course! Please just let us know their age and number in advance for catering.

Where can I park? There is plenty of on-site parking.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? The venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces. The main events are currently planned to be inside, but the outside will be free for socialising etc.

Is there a gift registry? We're just happy to have you there to celebrate with us! If you would like to give a gift anyway, we'd be very grateful for any donation to our honeymoon fund.

What is there to see and do in the area? Nearby, there are plenty of nice pubs and restaurants, as well as a large park (Etherow Country Park) with a lake and walking trails. Manchester city centre is readily accessible, and has a huge variety of tourist attractions and activities, day and night.
